CANORA - The eight-team Canora Ag Days Slo-Pitch Tournament on Aug. 23 was so successful that organizers are looking to turn it into a two-day event for 2026.
The games started with two pools, four teams in each pool. Pool A was made up of: 9-Inch Males, Bunt Force Trauma, BR Sluggers and Slow Pitch.
Playing in Pool B were: Krush, Sons of Pitches, Chubbsuckers and Cote Ballers.
Each team played three games, one against the other three teams in the pools.
When the dust had settled, 9-Inch Males and Cote Ballers finished first in their pools, each with three wins in three games, to qualify for the championship game.
In the final game, the two teams battled back and forth early on, but the Cote Ballers pulled away late for a 21-11 win, and the Canora Ag Days 2025 Slo-Pitch Tournament championship.
