The Weyburn Red Wings and Nipawin Hawks stayed hot in SJHL action Tuesday night, each extending their strong early-season runs in hard-fought victories.

Adam Savage Keller scored the shootout winner as the Red Wings edged the Kindersley Klippers 4–3, holding on to first place in the league standings. Both goaltenders shined — Kindersley’s Mattias Radke stopped 45 shots, while Weyburn’s Preston Patenaude turned aside 33 for his fourth straight win to start the season.

In Nipawin, the Hawks remained two points back in second place with a 3–1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers. Carter Anderson’s second-period goal proved to be the game-winner — his second in as many games after going scoreless through the first six. Finley Radloff and Jack Janzen also scored, while Gage Roberts made 28 saves for Nipawin’s sixth straight victory.

Meanwhile, the La Ronge Ice Wolves picked up their second win in three outings, defeating the Warman Wolverines 5–2. Captain Zane Normand’s power-play goal late in the second stood as the winner — his second game-winner of the season. Mattias De Zen, Trevor Oishi, Evan Cook, and Owen Turner also scored as La Ronge climbed two spots to ninth place in the standings.
