The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has announced its top performers of the week, highlighted by some standout efforts from across the province.
Humboldt’s Jacob Strizzi earned SGEU MVP of the Week, continuing his hot streak with five goals and an assist in three games — his third hat trick of the season. His teammate Charlie Tritt was named SaskTel Goalie of the Week, posting two wins, a shutout, and a stellar .961 save percentage.
Melfort captain Zayden Sadlemyer captured Bourgault Forward of the Week honours after a five-point weekend, while Melville’s Boston Harkness claimed SuperU Defenceman of the Week with six points in three games. Harkness’s teammate, rookie goalie Noah Sinagowitz, earned SaskMilk Rookie of the Week for back-to-back wins and a .936 save percentage.
Rounding out the list, Nipawin’s Konnor Watson was named Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week after scoring four goals — including a power-play hat trick — and two assists.
