It's a day to show our Rider Pride province-wide, as Saskatchewan is wearing green today for the 60th anniversary of the Labour Day Classic. The legacy will continue Sunday when the Saskatchewan Roughriders host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Riders Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Jeremy O'Day shared memories from the game on the SportsCage.

"The most memorable would be the 2007 Labour Day Classic with Kerry Joseph. We hit a quarterback draw at the end to win the game up the middle. It was a huge, exciting game.”

“I've been in Labour Day games where we've won on game-winning kicks. All sorts of things have happened on Labour Day, but it's exciting. I go back all the way into the old stadium, where people were standing on the grass and putting people in standing room only. So it's going to be a packed house, and I'm excited for it. Pill Country will be overflowing, which is awesome, but just great rivalry.”

“If you can't get excited for this game, you shouldn't be involved with football."
