The 60th Labour Day Classic will be on Sunday and the game is sold out, but Rider Nation can show their Rider pride province-wide by wearing green tomorrow as we get set for the big game.

For Regina native and Roughriders safety Jackson Ford, his Labour Day memories return to Taylor Field where he sold 50-50 tickets for the University of Regina Rams.

Fast-forward to 2025, and Ford is excited to be on the field for this year's clash with Winnipeg.

“The goal is 1-0 every week, but you know it's our rivals, so there's a little bit more juice in the atmosphere for sure,” Ford said.

Ford has made memories for many Rider fans going back to 2023 when a pass knockdown on a Zach Collaros two-point convert attempt secured the Riders' victory.

“Hard to forget that one, probably my favourite play so far in my career. But there'll be more plays to make,” he explained. “I blitzed off the edge, managed to just get a little tip on the ball and that's all I needed. So yeah, that was a pretty sweet play.”
