The Saskatchewan Roughriders will look to snap their first multi-game losing skid of the season when they take on the 4-and-10 Redblacks in Ottawa on Friday. Legendary Riders quarterback Darian Durant says that even though Ottawa’s chance at a postseason berth is a long shot, the Redblacks still have a lot to play for.

“It's about your life, livelihood, and career. Coaches are hoping to keep their jobs, and the players are hoping to put some good tape on film so that if Ottawa doesn't bring them back, they can catch on with another team across the league. Like, you want to do everything you can to show the organization that they should believe in you.”

Durant added that the Riders should expect everything to be thrown at them.

“You have nothing to lose. Empty the playbook. You have to be ready for trick plays and all-out blitzes. They're going to hold nothing back. They need this win desperately. Like I said, whenever your livelihood is on the line, guys get paid well in the CFL to play a kid's game, and you want to keep that going as long as possible. To do that, you have to have good film and win games, and they're going to do everything they can to put those two together.”
