There's a new way to enjoy Saskatchewan Roughriders football. The Co-op Community Zone was unveiled at Mosaic Stadium yesterday. Tickets for the top deck on the East Grandstand are available for $20 when purchased at Saskatchewan Co-ops.
Rider President and CEO Craig Reynolds says the partnership allows them to bring the game to families across the province.
"I think it's just sort of an evolution of a number of things that we've been trying to do and it's sort of a suite of products that are affordable in nature so we've got our family packs where a family of four can sit in the lower bowl $99, you have half price youth tickets, again getting more kids able to come to the game. And now there is the Co-op Community Zone in the Upper East Deck. It's just another opportunity for people to come and have a really affordable option to enjoy Rider football here at Mosaic."
CEO of Federated Co-operatives Limited, Heather Ryan, says Co-op members can show their Rider Pride province-wide.
"Co-op members are fiercely proud, and so is Rider Nation. In terms of actually being able to get your tickets at local Co-ops for a very affordable price while you're getting your fuel, while you're getting your groceries and a number of other things that they already have that connection with Co-op and then tying in where it's easy to get your tickets as well at a super affordable price. We get the best of both, where we can offer that to our members who support our local Co-ops, but then also to be a part of Rider pride."
Tickets for the Co-op Community Zone are on sale now.
