The Saskatchewan Rough Riders have a lot of reasons to smile on this Friday morning, thanks in large part to the 31-26 win over the Ottawa Redblacks last night at Mosaic Stadium.

Not only did the Riders move to 1-0 in the young CFL season, but the team also celebrated the 150th career game of long snapper Jorgen Hus and the 100th game of linebacker Jameer Thurman, who took a moment to reflect on the achievement.

“It just shows that I've been playing this game for a while. I couldn't have done any of this without the support of my trainers back home, my family, and my teammates, who pushed me every single year. You know, I've been around a lot of guys that have been playing a lot of games in the CFL, and I take from them, learn from them, and then try to incorporate that into my routine and keep building every year.”

The Riders are now off until next Saturday when they head to Hamilton to take on the Tiger-Cats.
