Terriers erase three goal deficit for comeback win in La Ronge

The Yorkton Terriers are now two out of two on their four-game road trip with a thrilling 6-5 comeback victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves at the Mel Heglund Uniplex.

After a slow start, trailing 3-1 in the first period, the Terriers surged back with four goals in the second, seizing the lead. However, the Ice Wolves equalized late, making it 5-5 by the end of 40 minutes.

Vinay Juney delivered the game-winning goal, pouncing on a rebound with just 3:23 left, securing the Terriers' seventh win of the season.

William Leonard and Dustin Renas shone for the Terriers, each scoring two goals and providing an assist. Meanwhile, Jacob Cossette scored twice and added an assist for the Ice Wolves in a valiant effort.

In goal, Ethan Farrow made 24 saves from 29 shots, clinching his fifth win of the season. On the other side, Ice Wolves' netminder Logan Falk faced 38 shots, allowing six goals in defeat.

The Terriers will take a well-earned rest on Thursday before heading to Kindersley to finish their road trip with two games against the Klippers at the Inter Pipeline Arena on Friday and Saturday.
