PREECEVILLE — The Preeceville Senior Pats hockey team held their annual general meeting on Aug. 20, with a new executive voted in.

The new president is James Bodnar; Noah Tonn, vice-president; Jamie Jakubowski, secretary; James Dodge and Aspen Nagy, treasurers; Jamie Jakubowski and Jessica Arnfinson, event co-ordinators; and Reece Gulka, volunteer co-ordinator.

Board members are Kris Jewhurst, Dreyton Paul, Natasha Tonn, Jeff Jakubowski and Eric Drader.

It was reported that the Preeceville Pats will play 16 regular season games, though the season’s start date has not yet been determined.

Throughout the year, the team organizes fundraisers, including working the bar at the fall festival, supporting the Filling the Gap food bank, holding a toy drive during one of their games, selling score squares, hosting the annual rec tournament and slo-pitch tournament, the annual golf tournament, and selling Pats clothing, hats and toques.
