Melville Millionaires earn third straight win after road victory in Nipawin

Millionaires, Bombers and Broncos all extend winning streaks

Jadon Iyogun’s 16th goal of the season with 11:07 left stood up to be the game winner to lead the Melville Millionaires to their third straight win, a 3-2 road victory over the Nipawin Hawks on Saturday night.

William Forsberg and Jett Fogle also scored for the Millionaires who got 21 saves on 23 shots from Ben Laurette in the win.

Eric Hoiness and Brady Seabrook replied for the Hawks.

The Millionaires and Hawks will meet once again on Sunday night from the CN Community Centre in Melville. GX94 will broadcast the game with the play by play starting at 6:00 PM.

The Flin Flon Bombers are now unbeaten in regulation in 26 straight games after 4-0 win over the league-leading Melfort Mustangs. The Bombers are now just two points back Melfort for the overall lead.


Kye Benoche netted a hat-trick while Jacob Strizzi & Ryder Knutson had four point nights to lead the Humboldt Broncos to a 10-3 hammering of the Battlefords North Stars.


Zach Shaughnessy stopped 26 shots as the Estevan Bruins earned a split of their Highway 39 battle slipping past the Weyburn Red Wings 5-2.


Hudson Cameron scored the game winner 3:20 into overtime as the La Ronge Ice Wolves were a 4-3 win over the Kindersley Klippers
