PREECEVILLE — The Preeceville Senior Pats Hockey team hosted a fun-filled exciting weekend on June 28 and 29 with their second Annual Slo Pitch Tournament this weekend.
The weekend kicked off with a Texas Hold-em poker night on Friday followed by a full day of ball featuring five teams and concluded with fireworks and a cabaret. The winning team, Captains Team took first place with Tight Mitts in second place and Son of Pitches placed third.
Brett Geistlinger won the Yeti Cooler and Cory Paul won the Slo pitch Bat. The other two teams featured the team of Nelson’s Team and Highway 5 Alive.
“Thank you Pink Ladies catering and concession for your amazing food and service, Iron Orr for rocking the stage for the cabaret, Preeceville Lions Club for your donation towards the fireworks, Preeceville Care Home and Twi-Lite Tire for your donations towards our raffle prizes and all of our teams and volunteers and to the Preeceville Curling Club for hosting your Poker Tournament at our event Friday night,” stated Jamie Leason, organizer.
