Yorkton Terriers captain Jaron Desnoyers named finalist for CJHL Top Forward Award

The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday the names of the six players who have been selected as finalists for its Top Forward Award in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday the names of the six players who have been selected as finalists for its Top Forward Award in the 2024-25 campaign.

Each of the finalists was determined through a voting process completed by the CJHL’s nine-member leagues for their respective efforts during the course of the regular season.

Among the finalists is Yorkton Terriers captain Jaron Desnoyers.

The Parkland County, Alberta product finished the regular season with 30 goals, 45 assists for 75 points in 48 games while also leading the league in points-per-game average, first in assists, and second in points.

The other finalists are Connor Paronuzzi of the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL), Jack Plandowski of Calgary Canucks (AJHL), Lucas Signoretti, of Greater Sudbury Cubs and Leamington Flyers forward Colton Smith.
