For the first time this season, the Nipawin Hawks soar to the top of the SJHL power rankings

Winners of six straight, the Hawks are flying high with the league’s best power play and a balanced attack that’s vaulted them into the national top five.

Right behind them, the Weyburn Red Wings stay hot at number two. Under head coach Cody Mapes, the Wings have lost just twice in regulation and continue to prove they can win any way they need to.

The Humboldt Broncos jump to number three after impressive wins over Flin Flon and Battlefords. Goalie Charlie Tritt has been a wall, already collecting three shutouts to lead the league, while Jacob Strizzi has a league-high 13 goals.

The Flin Flon Bombers slide to fourth following a pair of road setbacks, while the Kindersley Klippers round out the top five — powered by strong team defense and rookie netminder Mattias Radke.

The Melfort Mustangs fall to sixth after a tough week on the road, while the Melville Millionaires continue to rise, now sitting seventh thanks to wins over Flin Flon and Yorkton. Boston Harkness and rookie goalie Noah Sinagowitz have been standouts for Melville.

The Estevan Bruins climb to eighth after a convincing home win over Melfort, and the Yorkton Terriers sit in but are finding some consistency with back to back wins.

The Battlefords North Stars sit tenth, La Ronge eleventh, and the Warman Wolverines remain in twelfth — still battling hard as they chase their first big statement win.
