The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s northernmost division has a new identity.

Starting with the 2025–26 season, the SJHL has announced that UPL will become the official title sponsor of the league’s North Division, now branded as the UPL North Division. The agreement will span three years and includes the Flin Flon Bombers, La Ronge Ice Wolves, Melfort Mustangs, and Nipawin Hawks.

UPL has been a strong supporter of the SJHL since the 2022–23 season, holding naming rights for SJHL Weekly, the SJHL Draft, and all broadcasts from the IKS Media studio. They’ve also served as the presenting sponsor of the SJHL Playoffs since 2023.

“UPL is proud to expand our support of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League as title sponsors of the North Division,” said Tony Dalgliesh, Canada Marketing Manager at UPL Corp. “The SJHL is one of Canada’s premier junior hockey leagues, and we admire its dedication to player development and education.”

UPL Corp is a global leader in crop protection and agricultural innovation, committed to supporting farming communities — including those across Saskatchewan — through initiatives like its continued support of the SJHL.

SJHL Director of Marketing and Partnerships Jacob Faith added, “It’s an honour to partner with a company so in tune with our prairie roots. UPL has been instrumental in growing our digital reach, and now we’re excited to see their presence expand into more rinks this season. We can’t wait for the battle for the UPL North Division title to begin on September 19.”
