The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has officially announced the renewal of its longstanding partnership with Bunge, a leading Canadian agribusiness, marking the continuation of a 13-year collaboration that underscores a shared commitment to youth hockey and community development across the province.

As part of the refreshed agreement, the league’s South Division—formerly known as the Viterra Division—will now be rebranded as the Bunge Division, effective immediately. The division includes four teams: the Yorkton Terriers, Melville Millionaires, Weyburn Red Wings, and Estevan Bruins.

“Bunge is proud to continue our support of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League as title sponsor of the South Division,” said Kyle Jeworski, President and CEO of Bunge Canada. “The SJHL is one of Canada’s premier junior hockey leagues, and we admire its enduring focus on player development and educational opportunities.”

SJHL Commissioner Kyle McIntyre expressed gratitude for the renewed collaboration, stating, “We sincerely appreciate Bunge’s commitment to the SJHL and to our South Division. This value-added partnership will continue to benefit our teams, our league, and the communities we serve.”

The 2025–26 SJHL season will officially kick off with the battle for the Bunge Division title beginning on September 19, ushering in a new chapter in the league’s storied history.
