WINNIPEG, MB — The Regina Riot secured a hard-fought 12-10 victory over the Manitoba Fearless in a nail-biting game this past weekend in Winnipeg. The triumph marks the first win under new Head Coach Claire Doré.

The contest was a defensive battle from the opening kickoff, with both teams trading big plays and key stops. In the end, the Riot's resilience and clutch performances down the stretch sealed the narrow win on the road.

“We knew this would be a tough matchup,” said Coach Doré. “The Fearless are a strong team, and I’m incredibly proud of how our players dug deep and kept their composure. It’s an honor to celebrate this first win with such a dedicated and talented group.”

Now sitting 1-0, the Riot quickly shift their focus to a critical rivalry matchup next weekend. The Regina Riot head to Saskatoon on Saturday, May 10 to face their longtime rivals, the Saskatoon Valkyries. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM at SMF Field.
