Now for the elephant in the room. The Roughriders have had a ton of luck with the weather this season, but it appears that has run out. Rain has been pouring down all day in Regina and that isn’t going to change this evening, with a 100 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms all night. Temperatures are comfortable at 19 C, with a bit of wind from the south east at 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h.

The weather has had an effect on the pre-game festivities, as covered in this announcement from the Roughriders:

The Alouettes come into the game with a 5-7 record and are looking to stay ahead of Toronto in the battle for second place in the East Division.
