The reigning Prairie Football Conference Champion Regina Thunder will return to Liebel Field on Sunday afternoon.

After opening the season with a pair of road wins, the Thunder will honour Indigenous heritage throughout the contest.

Regina will take the field as the Treaty 4 Thunder for the First Nations Celebration Game as they will play host to the Treaty 6 Huskies.

The Treaty 4 Thunder enter the game with a 2-0 record, while the Treaty 6 Huskies are 0 -2. Earlier this season, the Thunder defeated the Huskies 31-16 in Edmonton.

To add to the excitement of game day, Treaty 4 Thunder will celebrate Indigenous culture and heritage with entertainment and activities throughout pre-game, including a traditional drum circle and Indigenous dancers. Teagan Littlechief will sing "O Canada," and a Hoop dancer will perform at halftime.

Edmonton has started the season 0-2. The Thunder defeated them in week one, 31-16, and the Saskatoon Hilltops scored a 46-6 in week two. Last week, Edmonton split its quarterbacking duties against Saskatoon. Jackson Harnett was good on 10 of 15 attempts for 95 yards, and Wesley Neitz connected on nine of 15 for 77 yards and two interceptions.
