SportsCage CFL Power Rankings Week 13

Weekly SportsCage.com contributors from around Western Canada collaborate to rank the Canadian Football League teams.

After Week 13, the Calgary Stampeders and their 8-3 record have taken first spot.

Despite a 34-30 win in the 60th Labour Day Classic, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and their league-best 9-2 record are in second.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers occupy the third spot on this week's ranking. Their record dropped to 6-5 after they lost in Regina in Week 13.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats continue to lead the East Division at 6-5, despite a Labour Day loss to Toronto. The Ticats have lost three in a row, putting them in fourth spot on this week's power rankings.

The B.C. Lions are in fifth place. The Leos had a bye week over Labour Day but are coming off a 52-34 loss to Toronto in Week 12, which snapped their three-game winning streak. Inconsistency lands the Lions in the fourth spot.

Next on the list are the Toronto Argonauts. The Boatmen scored a walk-off win over Hamilton in the Labour Day Classic to raise their record to 4-8. With Montreal stumbling atop the division and a potential return of quarterback Chad Kelly, things are looking up for the defending Grey Cup Champions.

Despite being on a bye, the Montreal Alouettes are seventh. The Als ' offence has been sputtering due to injuries to quarterbacks Alexander Davis, McLeod Bethel-Thompson, and Caleb Evans. Can a quarterback get healthy in Montreal to stop their slide down the rankings?

The Elks are in eighth after Week 13, thanks to winning three of their last four with Cody Fajardo at quarterback. Unfortunately, the Elks host Calgary in Week 14, the squad they fell to on Labour Day.

Finally, the Ottawa Redblacks. You'd be hard-pressed to find a team more nicked up than the Redblacks. With Dru Brown at quarterback, the Redblacks are a different team. Unfortunately for Ottawa, Brown has started just seven of their 11 games and hasn't played since August 15 in Winnipeg.
