Sherri Solomko / Freelance Reporter

Sherri Solomko says, “I love to write, in fact I often refer to it as my keyboard therapy. We have so many great stories to tell and I am happy to be part of the team that brings all of these terrific tales to our readers.”
Sherri started began writing more than a decade ago and spent many years as the full time reporter for the Unity-Wilkie Press-Herald before moving to Saskatoon. Prior to this, she served as front line staff at a financial institution, marketing coordinator for a local co-op and office manager and marketing personnel for an RV dealership.
“Marketing has been one of my strengths and I believe, when writing our communities' stories, we are marketing all that is great about the places we live and the people who live there. I am committed to telling all the great stories of people, places, spaces and organizations in our communities. Success stories are my favourite and we are lucky as there are so many to write about.”
