Rain holds off as Yorkton motocross racers hit Millstone track

YORKTON — Rain had postponed the Saskatchewan Motosport Association race day in Yorkton which was rescheduled to this past Sunday with rain threatening to again squash the event.

However, while racers woke to a wet track, the rains stayed away Sunday even under a cloudy sky and races went ahead with racers from across the Prairies taking on the track at Millstone Raceway in classes from 50 cc for youth to master events for the most aged racers.

Overall there were 251 race entries with 500 people through the gate.
