Estevan Bulldogs softball team competes in Regina

ESTEVAN — The Estevan U13A Bulldogs softball team went to Regina for their first tournament of the season earlier this season.

They ended up with a 2-2 record. Estevan opened with a 13-7 loss to the White City Storm, and then responded with two straight wins. First was a 12-11 victory over the Regina Royal Purge, with Quinn Zahn hitting an over-the-fence home run during the game. They also defeated the Regina Fighting Saints 13-4.

Estevan concluded the tournament with a 9-3 loss to the Calgary Adrenaline, who went on to win the event.

A total of 10 teams were entered.
