Regina’s Randy Bryden stays perfect at World Senior Men’s Curling Championship

Randy Bryden’s team from the Callie Curling Club in Regina is 3-0 at the World Senior Men’s Curling Championship in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Bryden’s quartet topped England’s Ken Horton 8-2 in his lone game Monday.

The Canadians started the contest by scoring three in the opening end. England tried to muster a response but could only reply with a single point in the third end. The teams traded single points in the fourth and fifth ends.

Bryden would break it open with a deuce in the sixth end and then stole a pair of points in the seventh end before the team shook hands.

Bryden’s team, which includes Troy Robinson, Russ Bryden, and Chris Semenchuck, will play 1-2 Wales on Tuesday.
