Canadian receiver Ajou Ajou has returned to the Saskatchewan Roughriders after attending training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.

In three NFL preseason games, the six-foot-three, 225-pound Ajou made four receptions for 27 yards.

The Brooks, Alberta native was selected by the Riders in the seventh round, 59th overall during the 2024 CFL Draft. In 2024, he played 12 regular season games while making 20 receptions for 307 yards and two touchdowns, including a 110-yard breakout performance against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 7.

“With him, everybody welcomes that kid into the building, love his personality and he is a good football player too," head coach Corey Mace said.

Ajou is expected to practice with the Riders on Friday and could make his CFL return during the 60th Labour Day Classic on Sunday against the Blue Bombers.
