The Melville Millionaires have traded 20-year-old forward Jadon Iyogun to the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL in exchange for 18-year-old forward Brayden Gourley and future considerations.
Iyogun, a Calgary native and Tennessee State University commit, joined the Millionaires in 2023 and quickly became a key contributor. Over two seasons, he appeared in 99 games, recording 44 goals and 48 assists for 92 points. In 2024–25, he tallied 21 goals and 27 assists in 51 games and was named the SJHL’s Most Sportsmanlike Player.
“After reviewing our roster, we decided to move Jadon, I can say that internally, we made the decision that anyone who leaves the team won’t be returning,” said Millionaires head coach and GM Doug Johnson. “In return, we’re bringing in a talented 2007-born forward with junior experience and championship pedigree. He’s a left-shot center, which is an area we felt needed strengthening. We’re very excited about what Brayden brings and confident he’ll make our team stronger this season.”
Gourley, also from Calgary, played for the Calgary Buffaloes U18 AAA in 2023–24, posting 16 goals and 23 assists in 35 games. In 2024–25, he split time between the Blackfalds Bulldogs of the BCHL and the AJHL’s Bonnyville Pontiacs, recording 10 points in 24 game
