One of many highlights from the Saskatchewan Roughriders' West Division clinching 27-19 win over the Toronto Argonauts was a fourth-quarter 44-yard reception by Samuel Emilus from Trevor Harris.
Emilus used the back of defender Delonte Hood to help him secure the catch.

The reception even caught the eye of ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown show. Emilus, however, didn’t initially see it.
“I mean, I didn't see it, but I had a couple of friends send me the clip. I think that was dope, and being on NFL Countdown, it's a cool, good thing to be on.”
Shortly after it aired, he found out all about it.
“It got sent to me, the clips, on text message and social media, but I wasn't sure why people were tagging me on stuff until I saw it. I was like, Oh, that's a good thing to be on.”
The reception was even more impressive when it was shown on the Max-Tron. Emilus has seen numerous replays of the catch but isn’t as impressed as you may think.
“I did that catch before. The most important thing is that we needed that play on offence, especially in the fourth quarter, inside five minutes. If Trevor trusts me and makes that throw like I'm going to come down with it, that's what happened.”
Emilus would finish the game with six receptions for 142 yards.
