The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian offensive lineman Dre Doiron.

The 23-year-old Doiron was selected by the B.C. Lions in the fifth round, 41st overall, of the 2025 CFL Draft.

The six-foot-four, 305-pound lineman attended training camp with the Lions before being released before the regular season.

A native of London, Ontario, the versatile lineman attended the University of Kansas for three seasons from 2022 to 24, suiting up for 14 games as a Jayhawk.

Before Kansas, Doiron attended the University of Buffalo, starting at right tackle for 10 games and appearing in 12.

Doiron attended the 2025 CFL Combine in Regina this spring and received an Honourable Mention from the Coaches after Saturday’s on-field activities while also registering the second-longest broad jump (8′ 1 1/4″) among offensive linemen.

Doiron and the Riders will be on the field tomorrow at Mosaic Stadium to begin their preparations for their week seven game with the B.C. Lions in Vancouver on Saturday.
