It's time for the weekly EPCCA Update, brought to you by Advantage Collision in Saskatoon and Prince Albert, the family shop that cares!
Despite the terrible weather forecast, the EPCCA was able to run both days in Sturgis this past weekend. Fans on the hill enjoyed 50 cart outfits and 31 wagons on the track.
When the last race was complete, the results were;
In first Colin Kilborn, second, Twyla Salmond, third, Carol Hooge, fourth, Casey Peterson, and fifth, Brooklyn Daniels. The best-dressed went to Tanner Hawreluik.
In the chuckwagons, first, Kane Salmond, second, Colin Kilborn, third, Riley Braaten, fourth, Kevin Hawreluik, and fifth, Ronald Sanderson. And the best dressed went to Kevin Gareau.
This weekend, North America's largest chariot and chuckwagon association is featuring two shows with the first Manitoba show of the year in Dauphin, June 27th, 28th, and 29th, and in Porcupine Plain, June 28th and 29th. Head to epcca.org for more information.
