Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame executive director Erin Stankewich is excited to honour a diverse group.

“Something we're passionate about is making sure that we're telling the full story of Saskatchewan sports. We know we have a couple of popular sports, but there are many sports that have success in our province, and those athletes deserve recognition as well," Stankewich said. “This year we have some rodeo athletes, which is really exciting, a taekwondo athlete, so a great variety of different accomplishments.”

In addition to getting tickets online, there is also an opportunity to bid on silent auction items. Including, a one-of-a-kind item, according to Stankewich.

“We reached out to Saskatchewan coach Chris Knoblauch, and he and the Edmonton Oiler entertainment group sent us an autographed Connor McDavid jersey with a Stanley Cup patch on it.”

All the money raised from the gala evening and silent auction will go back into the programming and education offerings as part of our museum at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.

Tickets and silent auction bidding are available now.
