Regina Pats acquire goaltender from Penticton Vees

The Regina Pats have acquired 19-year-old goaltender Marek Schlenker from the Penticton Vees.

The Regina Pats have acquired 19-year-old goaltender Marek Schlenker from the Penticton Vees in exchange for a 2027 ninth-round pick.

Schlenker played his Western Hockey League rookie season with the Portland Winterhawks in 2024-2025.

Schlenker went 13-10-1 with a 3.70 goals-against average and .893 save percentage in 30 appearances.

Schlenker, who is from Okotoks, Alberta, made 40 or more saves on three different occasions last season, posting a career-high 48 saves on December 11 at Everett.

The Vees selected the 5-foot-10, 164-pound goaltender in the 2025 WHL Expansion Draft on May 7.
