Only two Western Canadian Baseball League games could avoid yesterday’s rains. In Swift Current, Brooks outscored the 57’s 14-8.
Bomber’s catcher Liam Kirsh led the way offensively for Brooks. Kirsh was 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBI’s and a pair of walks.
Meantime, Sylvain Lake topped Lethbridge 12-0. The Gulls scored four runs in the first inning and added three more in the third to set the tone for the contest. Junior Garcia scored 2-for-3, scoring a pair of runs and adding three RBIs in the victory.
Regina at Moose Jaw will be made up Monday night, as will the Saskatoon Berries at Weyburn, who will play a doubleheader today.
