A memorial service for Jesse Lubiniecki will be held on Thursday, June 12, at the Turvey Centre.
The 22-year-old Lubiniecki had recently graduated from Taft Community College and was on his way home to play baseball with the Regina Red Sox for the summer, before attending Florida National University in the fall to continue his education on an athletic scholarship. While driving home, Jesse was involved in a fatal single-vehicle rollover accident.
A GoFundMe page has been established to honour Lubiniecki’s memory with a memorial scholarship and to assist the family in the additional expenses of his memorial service.
The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $25,000.
